Oops Late Friday Reality Recap.

So sorry I am late. So let's just jump right into it shall we?

ANTM:This was a really good week actually. Even though I hate who they gave the axe too again! It was really bitchy which is probably why I liked it so much. It started off with Brook and Nnenna getting into each others faces over the phone. Nnenna has been hogging the phone all week and Brooke is getting annoyed with it. Then Jade and Joanie had a bit of a rivalry at the challenge. The challenge this week was to do a church runway show. It was great because they got to act all over the top and stuff. I think they liked that best. And who of course would win something that allowed her to act out of control, Jade of course. She won a $20,000 diamond ring. Unreal! Then the real photo shoot challenge was taking pictures of Payless Shoes boots and shoes and stuff. And they were posing with the crumpers and clowns and stuff. It was pretty awesome. I think I have a new favourite. I like Joanie a whole lot! I think she could make the final 2. She has some teeth issue though but they are going to deal with it the next episode. She got the first spot of the final 8. The judges say she had the best signature walk. I don't disagree. She was awesome. However poor Leslie has a bad bad walk so she was in the bottom 2 with Sarah. Sarah was there because she had no life on camera this week. So who goes home the bad walker or the personality faker? Well the bad walker lost and Leslie was sent packing. She took good pictures but her runway walk was "atrocious" according to Nigel. We like Nigel, he's hot!
Survivor: Well this week was as exasperating as last was. I hate when people have the numbers in this game. It makes for a boring next three weeks unless the last surviving member of the old opposing tribe makes a big play for immunity every time. Which it looks like he will. It was down to Sally and Terry from La Mina. And they were making some big plays for two more people to turn against the others and it almost seemed like they might but then at last moment they didn't grow a pair and it didn't work. The reward challenge was for getting to see videos of their loved ones. It started out really tight neck and neck and then Aras kept knocking off the wrong pegs and having to start over again. It pissed off his teammates pretty good. I think he did it on purpose though in order to get to Exile Island to look for the individual immunity idol. Sneaky little bugger. Then at the immunity challenge there was the food choice, choose to compete or eat. And of course the entire Casaya former members decide to eat except for Aras of course. The little martyr that he is, decided he would be the big saviour of the former Casaya and compete for the immunity. Well sucks to be him because it was Terry who won. Ha-ha-ha! So finally we think the individual immunity will be played to save Sally. But as it turns out - not so much! Sally went home because Terry wouldn't share. He's so selfish. I want him to win but I don't you know. He pisses me off! Best of luck to him though!
AI: Well it was Queen night. God help us all! It started off with Bucky singing "Fat Bottomed Girls" and I have never ever heard of the song before, imagine the irony HA! I hadn't heard of a lot of the songs before. I thought almost all of them did a pretty good job except for Bucky and Kellie. I mean Chris was awesome, Katherine did really really well. I LOVED Aces' version of "We Will Rock You" I thought it was pretty catchy myself. Kellie was awful too for Bohemian Rhapsody. This is my impersonation of Kellie Pickler singing Bohemian Rhapsody "Mammmmmmmaaaaa just killed a man, put a gun agaiynst his head pulled my trigga now he's deyaaaaaad. Eww eww eww I have to goooooooowwww" Seriously the one song in the world that should NOT have a southern drawl is THAT song. Why did she get that song? I haven't been on the boards to see how badly she got bashed. I am sure it would have been funny though. Elliott was pretty good too and Taylor was back to himself again! It was great. I forget how Paris sounded. So it came down to Ace, Elliott and Bucky in the bottom 3. It turns out that Bucky wasn't well received by the fat bottomed public and he was FINALLY sent home. About time! Go home and learn how to enunciate! Take Kellie with you please! Next week they do Rod Stewart, so much to choose from so little time. We like The Rod, tonite should be a good show.

Well that's it folks I am off to set my VCR to record because I have to work until 9pm at the opera tonite. A woo-hoo! See you in a few days. I think I am going to have a bit of apartment humour for you guys soon! It'll be a hoot!

Weekend Fiasco!

I don't exactly know what happened but anything I had planned for the weekend didn't turn out the way it was supposed to. It started with Saturday night. I forgot about a social I had sort of committed us to go to. So the fiance was pissed because he didn't really want to go because he wanted to sit on his PC all night and play games. BO-RING! But then it actually turned out well. We had a good time with Mel and Zenon. Well mostly Zenon because Mel had to go home and feed baby Ben. We went to an Italian social in St Norbert at The Farmer's Market. It was fricking HUGE!!! There were 900 people there. And I am pretty sure there were a few strippers there. I have never seen so much grinding and thrusting EVER at a social. So many youngin's in tiny skirts and boobs hanging out of tops. Then there were these two fairly ugly chicks who I am pretty sure have a "pole" job in the real world. It was unreal. One very very drunk chick who kept falling on the dance floor. And almost a fight while we on the dance floor. It was something else. But it was still a good time! And I got to eat boobies! Well cake shaped like boobies. It was pretty good. I may have to switch teams if that's what they taste like! Just kidding! The food spread was impressive too. It took up a third of the length of the centre. Pizza and bread and meats and all kinds of good stuff! We got home a little after 1am because we dropped Zenon off at home on the way. They made fun of my driving but I didn't notice anything wrong with my driving. Shoulder checks are for the GUTLESS! And I noticed that they both got home alive and well. So on to volleyball on Sunday. We started like a half hour late because someone didn't open the gym on time for the first matches. Then we lost. And we lost miserably! 3 straight games. So we went on to play for Bronze and we won which was awesome! Although we should have been playing for Silver. So we got done a little before 6 and we gave one of the guys on the team a baby shower gift. I got to the fiance's store to get changed because we were off to a concert for the fiance's birthday this Sunday and it got all screwed up too. The concert was an all evening event that started at 5pm and lasted until midnight or so. We get to my office at about 7pm, and we found out that the band that we were going to see wasn't going onstage until almost 10pm. So we were deciding if we wanted to go to the show and then walk around and stuff. Or we could go get something to eat. So we decided on the latter and went to the Elephant & Castle. Well it was fine, our waitress was a bit spacey and didn't bring me a chicken burger but a beef burger but it was still tasty and stuff so no big deal. We lolligag a bit on our way back to the office (which was where we were wasting time before we went in to the concert) and then just before we got back to the office the fiance looked almost green. I let him use the facilities, and he's still not feeling well. So he wanted to wait it out because he really wanted to see this band. But at about 8:45 or so he just couldn't take the pain so I pulled some strings and got the money back for the tickets, which was his Christmas present. So I felt so bad about his birthday being shitty I almost wanted to cry and I still do. If that had happened on my birthday I would just vow never to celebrate it again. I have to do something to make this up to him. I mean a dinner for your birthday is only nice if it doesn't make you ill. What should I do?

Friday Reality Recap Special!

Ok here we are again, another Friday I LOVE IT! Let's jump right in.
ANTM: I really liked this episode for some reason. More then usual. And I am severely upset they got rid of Molly Sue over Jade. That's just retarded. They were all supposed to learn how to act and adlib this ep. It was funny, cause Molly Sue was really really funny in the improv stuff but then when it came to acting she was really nervous. But Jade was just obnoxious as hell. Every time she had a chance to talk in the improv class all she did was call down other people. Then when it came time to do the commercial for Cover Girl she was just ridiculously over the top. Like not even a ham but probably the whole pig. So bad. But they sent home Molly Sue because she didn't have a very outgoing persona. WTF is that? I think I really liked this ep because I never caught the acting shows in the other cycles, I always seemed to miss them somehow. .....NEXT!
Survivor..... umm I haven't seen it yet so more to come! OK so I finally watched it on Saturday and I am sooooooooooo mad. Austin got the boot! So frustrating! He was hot! I really don't like Terry at all anymore. He wouldn't give up his immunity idol to Autsin in order to save him. I don't get that. THey could have had Aras out if they had done it that way. Because as far as I could tell, it goes who ever has the immunity idol can't get voted off and the person with the next highest amount of votes gets the boot. Well that would have been Aras had Austin had the idol. Just retarded. I guess you can rationalize that decision by saying that you can only use the idol once and they haven't gotten anyone off of the other team to sway any numbers. I hate numbers games. It makes for a lot of obvious game playing. They need a challenge that shows off the pecking order. Then maybe Bruce and Cerie will see where they stand with their original 6. But I don't see that happening yet. So mad am I!!!!!!!!
AI: I AM SO MAD!!!! As if they ejected Mandisa! How retarded are American's anyways! Oh I am just furious. There's lots of speculation on the official idol message boards as to why she got the boot. Some say it was because of her little display before the 21st century songs from a week ago. Something about letting the "Almighty" save you from your lifestyle or something. Then the real reason is because she is overweight. Like who cares, she was one of te best voices and I think that the American public couldn't deny that so they took her down the first time she made a slip. And in country night I mean it's a slippery slope to try and do if you aren't a fan of that music. And to choose Shania Twain to sing wasn't her brightest idea. I mean Shania isn't the best singer in the world, she's the country music equivalent to Madonna, good performer and pretty but no real singing talent to speak of. I was pleasantly surprised by Chris. I thought for sure he was going to struggle but hey he pulled it off and well too! I really really liked Katharine's rendition of Faith Hill's "Bringin' Out The Elvis" cause it was nice and bluesy. And then at the end she kind of took a small shot at Simon which was funny! Ace did Keith Urban proud and Bucky even had a pretty good shot with a country song that I think I have heard from a non country artist. I actually really liked Bucky this week. The fact that Kellie Pickler sang the song "Fancy" by Reba McEntire made me laugh hysterically because the song is about a girl who turns 18 and her momma pimps her out to make money. HAHAHAHA! If you have ever heard about her prom dress scandal then you would understand! I missed Taylor's performance so I can't really say. I actually missed a lot of Mandisa's too. I really thought Elliott was going home. His song was awful! His vibrato was all over the damn place. Just not good dude! Wow I sounded like Randy for a second there. And well Paris stank up the joint too. But I was really hoping it was her that was going home. I did however love her hair being short and natural instead of Shirley Temple-ish. The best part of the whole results show went like this. Ford commercial: the gist was Kellie takes her old ugly car into the dealership and magically it comes out looking perfect and shiny. After commercial airs and comes back to show Ryan Seacrest says "And I think Kellie really believes that's how cars are made." Camera pans to Kellie and she has this look on her face like "Uh ... what?" She didn't even catch it. I nearly fell off the couch laughing at it. Mean but funny. And I know at least one of my readers will appreciate it - Shout out to ZK! Alright well that's it for me folks.

Friday Reality Recap Special (but it's really Monday oops!!)

Ok so I forgot about this on Friday.....don't shoot me but I guess I really had work to do on Friday. I don't really remember. Ok so let's start.
ANTM: Well it was another week of skinny chicks going nuts! I was a bit happy that Gina finally gave Jade a piece of her mind. Very cathartic. But if you are going to tell off your biggest competition then you need to rock out your photo shoot, and she totally didn't. She looked like she was on some bad weed for the entire show. "Ok Gina show us some poses with props.....any time you are ready....really now would be good." She looked like a deer in the headlights but with slightly less awareness. It was too funny, but in that hard to watch kind of way. It bugs me that Jade gets better and better every week. I may have to start to like her now. They brought back the biggest weirdo on the show, Lisa, for a small cameo this ep. She mustn't be doing anything really special if she has to go back to the show. And of course biatch diva extrordinaire was back too, Janice Dickinson. That chick needs to lay off the plastic surgery. I think you could actually pop her lips with a pin they are so botox'd to extremes. Well needless to say they finally sent Gina packing. Pretty girl but nothing upstairs. Oh the best part.... Nnenna was posing with this super hot guy and it got pretty intense and as Joanie says "The guy totally pitched a tent in Africa and not the kind you can sleep under!" It was funny you just see the guy run off the set hiding behind his towel like Tarzan undies. Such an awesome line. Nnenna has a boyfriend apparently but I don't think she does anymore. Good ep all in all.
Survivor: Well it's tribal merge time!! And poor Casaya didn't have the numbers going in. It was 4 on 6 (La Mina) and it was pretty intense. They all make believed that it was a great thing but that lasted about 30 seconds. Terry and Austin were working people harder then the ho's on Higgins. I thought maybe they turned Bruce but it turned out that he is just too insecure to have an original thought. and then the rest of his original tribe got all lovey dovey with him so he thought he was part of the group, but he will be number 4 of the jury I can almost guarantee it. It came down to Nick and Terry for the first individual immunity challenge, and of course it was an outlast type of competition. Hang upside down from a log as long as you can. I was so mad because Terry has the immunity idol and he could have given up individual immunity and saved Nick, who ended up going home. So now I am down to 1 really hot guy (Austin) and 1 ok guy (Aras) . I think someone from the 6 goes home this week. It's just a feeling. The teaser looked intriguing. But then again I thought that about last week's teaser about someone needing medical attention and it was hardly even anything. Well that's not true, I mean Bruce did get whacked in the face with a Machete, that's pretty scary, but no one called for a medic. That was misleading. A little disappointing too. We'll see in a few days what happens next.
AI: Ok we had the bevy of all episodes for the contestants to shine, a night of 21st century music and all but 2 sucked! I was so disappointed. I almost cried it was so upsetting. The only people who did really well were Katharine and Paris. And I don't like Paris all that much but I think she rocked Beyonce's "Work it Out". Of course Simon tore it apart. Simon is just plain rude. All show no tell. Some of what he says can be true but there is a way to say it and not sound like him. Bucky even had a pretty good performance with a Tim McGraw song. I don't know what the song is cause it's country and I don't listen to country. Chris' performance was good but not great. And he picked a dumb song as far as I was concerned. I mean it's the 21st century you should pick a song that was actually released to the public! Not some no-name Creed song. Just dumb. And then Simon has the balls to say "You need to do something different, you can't just come out and do the same thing over and over again." Ok last week he was impressed with his non-compromise sense of artistry and now he's being tanked because of it. I mean they led him into thinking he was right for doing what he does best and then turn around and spank him for it. Make up your minds. I think he was even going to say something but he didn't get a chance. I think if he would have picked a more known song and still rocked it like he did Simon wouldn't have said that to him. He's such a turncoat. So it turned out that Lisa, Ace and Katharine were in the bottom 3. It was a bit shocking for Katharine to be there because she just nailed a Christina Aguillera song. Although I have never really heard of it until that night. But then I don't really like her. Lisa tried a Kelly Clarkson song and I thought she did pretty good at it myself. She actually emoted on stage. Something we haven't seen from her since the top 24 competitions. Ace did ok with his song but again he didn't knock it out of the park, he sang "Drops of Jupiter" by Train. At least it's a known song. Not only was it shocking that Katharine was in the bottom 3 but she went there instead of Bucky. It was down to the two of them for the last spot in the bottom 3 and it was her not him. I think even Bucky looked shocked. Strange. But Lisa went home because well lets face it she's forgettable. So I think now that they have dropped all the dead weight the competition should be fearless next week, oh no wait it's country week this week. Nevermind, Bucky and Kellie will be the favs going in because of the genre choice. I am so sick of Kellie Pickler it's just ridiculous. Send the ballsy saLmon eating minx home please!!!
Well that's it for another fun week of reality shows I love! Have a good week!!

Friday REality Recap Special (but it's really Monday oops!!)
